This revolutionary mower utilizes a Kubota® 24.8 hp diesel engine alongside an in-line motor generator and a self-recharging 48-volt battery pack. Together, these power sources form Toro’s patented PowerMatch™ hybrid power delivery system, ensuring seamless power distribution to both the vehicle and the cutting units.
PowerMatch™ Hybrid Technology
The PowerMatch™ system intelligently matches the machine’s power output to the mowing conditions. For hilly terrains and challenging mowing tasks, the Reelmaster 5010-H diverts the cutting unit load from the engine to the battery pack. When additional power is needed, the battery pack boosts the engine power, providing the machine with the equivalent of over 40 horsepower. This efficient power management results in an average fuel saving of 20%, reducing operating costs and minimizing the mower’s carbon footprint.

Innovative Electric Motors
Replacing traditional hydraulic cutting motors with electric motors has significantly reduced potential leak points. The remaining hydraulic lines in the vehicle and cutting unit lift system are mainly hard lines or limited-movement hoses, resulting in fewer service intervals. The electric reel circuit requires no scheduled maintenance, further lowering the cost of ownership.

48-Volt Battery Pack
The self-recharging 48-volt battery pack consists of four 12-volt Absorbed Glass Mat (AGM) batteries, which are maintenance-free and sealed. Designed for long life with shallow discharge and recharge cycles, these batteries are similar to those used in automotive start-stop hybrids and are expected to last for years under typical golf course usage.
